Our porcelain lithophane night lights are generally available in either a FLAT PANEL or CURVED PANEL.  The CURVED PANEL is just slightly curved and provides many desirable effects.  For example, it disperses light more evenly and hides the light bulb more from a side view.  More people seem to prefer the CURVED PANEL.  However, a lot of people still like the traditional FLAT PANEL.

The FLAT PANEL can be used in the upright, hanging or sideways (not pictured ~ mounting plug is attached to the side, instead of the top or bottom, of the night light) mounted positions.  It can also be used in any Porcelain Lithophane Stand.

The CURVED PANEL can be used in the upright and hanging positions, but not the sideways.  It can not be used in a Porcelain Lithophane Stand.
