Section Covers Shipments To Addresses In The Continental United States |

all items that do not have unique Delivery Charges associated with them, as explained in the
following paragraph, and to be delivered to an address in the Continental United States, the
Delivery Charge is based on the Continental
United States - General Delivery Charges Table
above. To determine the Delivery Charge for these items, calculate the total of all
Regular Sales Prices of all items in your order excluding those with unique Delivery Charges
associated with them. Then locate the applicable Delivery Charge for the amount you
calculated. Also see Additional
Delivery Charges
further down this page. These may also apply to certain items in your order. |

certain items (e.g. Boardwalk Originals Holiday Displays & Belgian Waffle Mix) to be
delivered to an address in the Continental United States, unique Delivery Charges apply.
For these items, the Delivery Charges are either included in the sales price of the item (e.g.
Boardwalk Originals Holiday Displays) or based on a unique Delivery Charges table for that item
(e.g. Belgian Waffle Mix). In either case, the item page will explain that unique Delivery
Charges apply to the item and what those charges are. |

Continental United States refers to the lower 48 contiguous states. It excludes Alaska,
Hawaii and U.S. Territories. We love both states and the U.S. Territories but their
wonderful isolated uniqueness cause us to incur more costs to deliver our packages to addresses
there. We only wish we could go with the packages! |

Charges - Outside Continental United States |

Section Covers Shipments To Addresses Outside The Continental United States |

| We
love sending our products to our customers outside the Continental United States too. So,
we have developed the following Delivery Charges formula to minimize the Delivery Charge to
these addresses. |
|
| Delivery
Charges to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. Territories, Canada and other international addresses are
determined by adding the amount of our freight carrier's (FedEx, UPS, USPS, etc.) list rate for
the specific delivery service that you ordered (e.g. Ground, Express, etc.) and 20% of that
amount up to a maximum of $9.95. If the total of these two amounts is less than the amount
derived from the Continental United States - General Delivery Charges Table, then the amount in
the table is the Delivery Charge. The minimum Delivery Charge for any order to these
addresses is $5.95. All or part of the the Delivery Charge may appear as a separate item
on your credit card statement. The amount computed using the 20% described above is
included to cover costs we incur to prepare your packages such as packaging materials. The
remaining amount, if any, is a nominal amount towards the costs we incur as a result of the
additional steps necessary to prepare and process a shipment to these addresses. |

| Additional
Delivery Charges |
| When
certain items are large in size, weight, or both, we must pay significantly more to our freight
carriers to deliver your order. Our Continental United States - General Delivery Charges
Table above does not allow for this. For such items, an Additional Delivery Charge may
apply. Any such charge will be clearly described on the item page. Our objective in
determining the amount of these charges is to collect only the additional costs we incur such as
amounts paid to our freight carriers to deliver orders for us. Additional Delivery Charges
are not applicable to deliveries to addresses outside the Continental United States as the
Delivery Charge formula for those addresses already considers this factor. |

| Expedited
Delivery |
| We
offer Expedited Delivery Services if you order needs to be delivered sooner than our normal
delivery time using Ground services (2-7 business days for most orders). These services
include Express/Overnight Delivery where available (not all delivery addresses can be reached
overnight by any of the freight carriers we use). We recommend that you also consider 2nd
Day or 3rd Day delivery service. These services are generally much less expensive than
Overnight Delivery which can be quite expensive. The best way to order Expedited Delivery
Service is to tell us the date you want it delivered and we will determine the most cost
effective delivery service for that date. |

| For
Overnight Delivery, orders must be received by us before 1:00 PM Pacific Time. Overnight
Delivery may not be available for some items. Please Contact
Us to
arrange for these services. |

| Expedited
Delivery Charges are determined by adding the amount of our freight carrier's (FedEx, UPS, USPS,

| At
Cottages
and Gardens
we are committed to keeping our Delivery Charges reasonable and competitive with other
retailers. As you may be aware, significant increases in fuel prices recently have
resulted in increased delivery rates by all of the major freight carriers thereby increasing our
delivery costs. Our objective in determining our Delivery Charges is to collect, on an
overall basis, the actual costs we incur in packaging materials and amounts paid to our freight
carriers to deliver orders for us. |

| General
Shipping Information |
| Our
objective is to ship your order as quickly as possible unless you instruct us otherwise. |
|
| Most
items are shipped from our California facility, however some items are shipped from our other
facilities or directly from our suppliers. In stock items shipped from our facilities are
generally shipped within 48 hours of us receiving your order. For deliveries within the
Continental United States, you should expect to receive such orders generally within 2 to 7
business days after our receipt of your order. Out of stock items and items drop shipped
by our suppliers may take longer. Items ordered together may not arrive in the same box or
on the same day. |

| We
generally use FedEx, UPS and the United States Postal Service ("USPS) to deliver almost all
of our shipments. |
|
| Partial
and Split Shipments |
|
For various
reasons, including shipments from our non-California locations, shipments of backorders and drop
shipments from our suppliers, it may be necessary for us to make partial or split shipments to
fill your entire order in the best manner possible. The Order Confirmation e-mail that we
send to you will address this if it is applicable to your order. We will also tell you the
estimated ship dates of each shipment. If the time difference between shipments is
significant, we generally prorate the Delivery Charges for your entire order between each
shipment.
