Sharing A Vision

Once the house was closed up and protected from the weather, the hardwood floors started drying out and went back into place.  Some of the old floors were redone, and new hardwood floors were added in the kitchen and upstairs.  Comparing the old floors to the new floors, Anitra much prefers the old floors for their richness and durability.   "The new floors damage easier.  You just can't damage those old floors," said Anitra.

Structural changes and additions were made.  The first order of business was to make a larger kitchen for Anitra.  One wall was taken out, and the back was bumped out to add on a breakfast room.  "I love that little room.  I sit there for lunch, and it's so nice to watch the children outside playing," said Anitra.  For convenience, a half bath was reconfigured in a space next to the kitchen.

The kitchen and breakfast room combine to create a very open and relaxed area.
