Louisville Treasure

Through his collaboration with Cherry, Jenkins developed an appreciation for fine antiques and art.  Together Jenkins and Cherry worked on Cherry's personal residences in Louisville and Nantucket, along with other clients, where the sky was the limit.  Referring to the limitless possibilities, Jenkins says, "It really does something.  It transcends things.  You are really on the line.  Without a doubt it is more pressure."  Looking back, Jenkins says, "Scott Tichenor was the essence of my education and Dottie Cherry was like graduate school."

Dining Room
The 1840's gilt bronze chandelier came out of Christ Church Cathedral during the 1900 renovation. Jenkins removed the crystal prisms so the skeleton remains, creating a more simple, elegant look.  The mirror is federal circa 1810-1815 from New York.  The dining table is 1820's English regency, in rosewood.  The chairs were designed by Jenkins and covered in a cotton duck. In a similar vein, the drapes are muslin with a silk and cotton bullion fringe.  The French statue on the dining table is circa 1790 of Narcissus.
