Finding Comfort In The Details |
|
Accessorizing was how Lewis and her partner Rippy got their start. The partners of the company, Details Commercial Group, began working with health care groups, corporations, hospitality companies, and residential clients doing the finishing touches: art, plants, and lamps. From the very beginning it's what they loved doing and that is still their niche.
Lewis likes to first work with what the client has and then fill in where necessary. One way they do this is to load up their van with hand picked items and take the items to the client. "Unless you make an impact it never gets pulled together," says Lewis. Another approach is to make a list of what the homeowners need and let them to do their own shopping since so many people like to buy special items when they are traveling to remind them of their trip. Or use a combination of both methods.

Great / Family Room |
The details that make this room warm and cozy are the combination of muted color tones and a wide variety of textures. For instance: leather, glass, wood, stone, rattan wrought iron, and a shag rug. |
