Holly Gregor is a freelance writer living in Louisville, Kentucky.  Gregor writes only on interior design, a passion she acquired after buying their first home.  Married with a young son, Gregor grew up in Austin, Texas and lived in Orange County, California for 11 years working as a television reporter.  After having their son, she pursued freelance writing, a more flexible career, allowing her to stay home. That simple direction is key to Kaye's style and elegance.  Not to mention her fabulous collection of ornaments.  Case in point: The garland going up the banister in the foyer is dripping with gorgeous, ornate Radko ornaments. Simply stunning. "Once you have decorated the house it's not that much more trouble to have people for a party," says Kaye.  Over the years, the party has grown to such proportions that the Durnells now have three parties instead of one in order to include all of their friends.   The first two nights are sit-down dinners catered by The Silver Spoon.  (The last two years lobster was served.)  They skip a night to rest and fluff the house up again.  The final party is a buffet for 60 with Kaye's famous beef tenderloin as the entree.
