Birds, like other of nature's friends, annually conduct their many rites of spring such as building nests for the "new family" soon to come.  You can often hear the birds singing and talking away during the day while they are busy at it.  It can be some of nature's best music!

The rites of spring are no different on Narcissus Avenue in Corona del Mar as these baby doves are nestled in the comfy little home that their parents (probably mom) had built in a nearby camellia tree.  The camellia tree just happens to be in its spring glory too (spring often comes early in Southern California and it has this year).
