As is generally well known and written about, Carmel, California and the surrounding area such as 17 Mile Drive, which includes The Lone Cypress, is simply a magical place on Earth where Mother Nature displays some of the best she has to offer.

The special way the contrasting sea and land melt together in this part of the world is quite unique.  It must be one of the most calming and peaceful places on all of Earth.  It truly is a special place ~ a place that all should visit at least once.
