| Holly Gregor is a freelance writer living in Louisville, Kentucky. Gregor writes only on interior design, a passion she acquired after buying their first home. Married with a 5 year old son, Gregor grew up in Austin, Texas and lived in Orange County, California for 11 years working as a television reporter. After having their son, she pursued freelance writing, a more flexible career, allowing her to stay home. What Gregor loves about interior design is the combination of creativity and personal expression reflecting ones personality and lifestyle. About the Designer
Gwen Howard
Originally from Indianapolis, Howard has lived in Louisville for 33 years. She attended the University of Louisville receiving a bachelor of arts degree concentrating in Interior Design. While still a student, Howard worked at Stewarts (once one of Louisville's finest home furnishing stores) until they closed. Howard moved on to Hubbuch's where she spent the last 13 years of her career. Just recently Howard has started her own freelance design business.
As a designer, Howard has learned to trust her instincts. "I have this habit of walking into spaces and saying, 'Oh, this needs that.' And if I can't find it, I wait." Sometimes the owners might be skeptical, but Howard says it is the thing that will bring character to your room. |
